|Known for his commitment to the future of the human family, Sandy has been a national leader in the Green Building Revolution. Sandy is a founder and principal of Consilience, LLC, a national real estate consultancy with a mission to build environmentally, socially and economically sustainable communities. He is also Chair of e3bak, the nation's first full service triple bottom line bank. He is the Immediate Past Chair of the Washington, D.C. based USGBC, and he continue to serve as a Director and a member of USGBC's Executive Committee. Sandy was Founding Chair of the Green Building Certification Institute and continues to serve on its board and Executive Committee. He was also Founding Chair of Philadelphia based DVGBC. He also currently serves on the Sustainability Advisory Board of the city of Philadelphia, the Advisory Board of the Rutgers University Center for Green Building and as a juror for the Delaware Valley Smart Growth Alliance.
||Dr. Kibert is Holland Professor and Immediate past Director of the M.E. Rinker Sr. School of Building Construction. He founded and is Director of the Powell Center for Constructions and Environment at the University of Florida. He founded Task Group 16 (Sustainable Constructions) and cofounded Task Group 39 (Deconstruction) of CIB. He is co-founder and President of the Cross Creek Initiative, a non-profit industry/university joint venture seeking to implement sustainability principles into construction. He was co-chair of the Curriculum and Accreditation Committee of the USGBC. His research interests include sustainable development and construction, deconstruction, environmental impacts of construction, construction and demolition debris recycling, and construction ecology and metabolism. He organized and teaches the graduate track in Sustainable Construction at the UFL as well as continuing education courses to industry on the subject.
||Mr. Peter is the President and CEO of Chen and Associates, a civil and environmental engineering firm located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He recently worked as the Client Project Manager for work in Borward Country, Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale and continues to be involved in the successful completion of the related projects. These projects include sanitary collection improvements, pump station rehabilitation, transportation engineering enhancements, water and reclaimed water consulting along with all other phases of civil engineering design and neighborhood improvements. Additionally, Mr. Peter serves as the Assistant City Engineer for the City of Coral Springs and is the Spokesperson for the City's Engineering Division. Finally, Mr. Peter serves on the Chen and Associates QA/QC Committee giving him a solid foundation in knowing how to maintain the consistency of quality throughtout a firm.
