Ravi Srinivasan is one of the few energy simulation experts at the top of the highly specialized field of building science. Ravi is an Assistant Professor of Low / Net Zero Energy Buildings at Rinker School of Building Construction, University of Florida. Prior to joining University of Florida, Ravi was the Director of Technology & Innovation at Green Roundtable, where he has consulted on several Low / Net Zero Energy (NZE) buildings. He has conducted NZE concepts and energy modeling trainings for staff of AEC firms and educational institutions. The NZE training program he had developed was awarded 2010’s “Most Innovative Product” by Massachusetts USGBC chapter. Ravi has had the opportunity to serve in leadership capacities throughout his career. Most recently, he chaired the Association of Energy Engineer's Certified Building Energy Simulation Analyst Board and developed the course curriculum and exam that was attended by staff from prominent public institutions and private organizations. Ravi holds M.S. in Engineering from the University of Florida, M.S and Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.
